“Local Local Local” as Important as “Location, Location, Location”

As this holiday season is approaching, my goal is to think local, shopgift local and pursue local for all of my needs, whether it is a small thought or a big gift. There are so many unique shops, craft bazaars, our original Snow Goose Book Store, outstanding art displays (Seagrass Gallery), gift stores that offer lots of great ideas (Karen’s Kitchen on Camano Island and Z’s in Stanwood) and several other local establishments here on the Island such as Camano Island Coffee Roasters.

Some of my favorite local gift cards would be from any store or service on Camano Island or Stanwood (a little bit lower in the article I have included links that might be helpful in finding other businesses). I love giving a gift certificate for services such as a pedicure, manicure, facial or massage from the many therapists in our local area. These are appreciated by men and women and they somehow remember that you are the one that gave them this special, local gift.

(For more local shop, store and business ideas, here is the member list for the Camano Chamber; and here it is for the Stanwood Chamber).

With this year drawing to a close, I want to thank everyone who has given me continued support and loyalty throughout the years. As I think of the many things I am grateful for, I want you to know what a privilege it has been to work with you in finding and /or selling your home. I greatly value our association and I will continue to work to achieve your home ownership goals, as well as those of the people you refer to me.

Have a Wonderful Holiday Season compliments of Jan Mather, The Camano Island Expert.
